Yes, racism is everyone’s problem. Like every other forrm of discrimination is everyone’s problem, because it will one day affect our personal life directly. Every event in the world has a ripple effect elsewhere in the world.
I see various forms of discrimination in the academic world, based on gender, race, nationality and so many others. So, racism is just one excuse to try to belittle someone. People will take the excuse only if we allow them. It is our responsibility as educated human beings to respect our education and behave like we are worthy of it. And not allow anyone any form of excuse.
It is time, even for me, to take responsibility and stop behaving like I do not deserve my education.

I hope we can all, one drop at a time, make the world a better, safer place for a humanity that is truly developed.
